Located in South East London, Friends of the Earth Bexley Group are one of around 200 Locally-based Friends of the Earth Groups in England and Wales. Working on a voluntary basis to improve the environment and quality of life for all.

Membership is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Whether or not you're able to come along in person you can keep in touch and up to date with our activities via our «mailing list».

As previously reported, objections continue to be raised against Bexley Council plans to sell Erith Riverside Gardens for residential development. The 
News Shopper has been running a series of articles on this issue, and it has also been featured in the Bexley Times. Consultation ended on 11th April and we are now awaiting the results. One of the community groups that are opposing the development has a Facebook page here.
